Dancers from as far away as Queensland as well from all over New Zealand (Whangarei to Invercargill) had a great time at the South Island Easter School at Owaka.
We got some positive coverage in the Otago Daily Times – all good to keep SCD in front of people and help cultivate the ground for recruiting new dancers. ODT article and some video here (you have to sit through the ad at the start of the video I’m afraid):

After the success of the Ceilidh there has been a lot of interest from young people so a juniors group has been started. Meeting from 6:30 to 7:30PM on Wednesdays the first half hour will be just the juniors, it will then overlap with the start of the adult group and we will dance together.
