Very Successful Easter School

Dancers from as far away as Queensland as well from all over New Zealand (Whangarei to Invercargill) had a great time at the South Island Easter School at Owaka.

We got some positive coverage in the Otago Daily Times – all good to keep SCD in front of people and help cultivate the ground for recruiting new dancers. ODT article and some video here (you have to sit through the ad at the start of the video I’m afraid):

Lawrence Dance Weekend 18-19 May 2018

Great weekend, Ceilidh on Friday night, Beginner/intermediate class with Diane Bradshaw on Saturday and a social dance on Saturday night. Live music for everything from Glenfiddle (Anne-Marie Forsyth, Sharlene Penman, Margaret Peace and Natalie Scott). Wonderful support from dancers from Dunedin, Invercargill, Christchurch, Wellington and Auckland and caller for the Ceilidh, Ruth Budden.
